Grade School Team General Information

Mentors and Coaches

Team format

• Teams will practice at a separate time and location
• Teams collaborate and communicate through a common Webpress blogger site
• The primary method of communication for the 4-6^th grade team will be through email and a Blog.

Primary Meetings

• Day of week : Sundays
• Time:  2-4PM
• Location:  Jeff Hendricks home,  2900 NE 232^nd Ave, Camas

• Rules:  Focus on team objectives, no rough housing, no shoes, wear clean socks, respect home, no food or drink, water provided

Free-form meetings

• Mid-week  (Tuesday or Wednesday are current options)
• Time:  6-8PM
• Location:  Jeff’s house
• Purpose:  Learn by trial with NXT robot.  Build and program robots of choice.  Options to help will be available.

Fees and management

• Team fees : ~$1200
• Titan’s Foundation contribution:  $500
• Participant fees of $100 are due at this first meeting.  Make checks payable to:  Jeff Hendricks
• Treasurer:  Jeff (primary), David G, Steve Sotto
• $20 applied to Titan’s Fondation for member dues.  Insurance, overhead, accounting, etc
• Additional fees may apply
